The City League of Better Pittsburgh is working to make sure greater than 900 households can take pleasure in a Thanksgiving meal this vacation season, after a two-year program hiatus. Provisions within the type of meals and a $15 Big Eagle present certificates shall be given away on Nov. 19 on the David L. Lawrence Conference Heart in Downtown.
Recipients have been chosen by the City League of Better Pittsburgh and are contributors within the group’s applications and providers, reminiscent of its Household Help Facilities or its housing and rental applications.
In collaboration with Pittsburgh Medical and Translational Science Institute, a Well being and Human Service Village may also supply attendees well being screenings. Mission Imaginative and prescient and Golden Dental will present extra well being providers.
