Ayodhya: A father-son duo from Tamil Nadu have been arrested for allegedly stealing jewelry and different valuables from Bhojpuri actress Amrapali Dubey, the police stated on Friday.

Officers stated that the Bhojpuri movie actress, Dubey had in a criticism to Kotwali Nagar police alleged that unidentified males had stolen jewelry and different valuables from her resort room on Thursday. The actress had come to Ayodhya alongside together with her mom for a shoot and was staying in room quantity – 415 and 416 of a resort within the Kotwali Nagar space. The theft was reported at round 06.30 am, and the estimated worth of stolen jewelry was Rs 25 lakh, the police stated. 

The actress had left the door of her room open by mistake and went out when two unidentified suspects gained entry to the resort room and stole a bag containing jewelry and cell phones. The theft got here to mild when the actress returned and located her belongings lacking from the room. Quickly after this, the police had been knowledgeable and a case of theft was registered towards unidentified males. 

Further SP Madhuban Singh stated that they went by the CCTV footage of the resort, and zeroed in on the 2 suspects, who had been seen getting into the actress` room, and leaving with the bag. We activated our native intelligence, and the suspects had been rounded up at Badi Bua Crossing space, stated Singh, whereas including that the accused throughout questioning confessed in regards to the theft, and have been arrested. 

“All useful objects stolen from the actress` room have been recovered from the accused,” claimed Singh. 

Bhojpuri actress Amrapali Dubey expressed her gratitude for the immediate motion and restoration of her stolen belongings. “I didn’t suppose that my belongings can be recovered inside.
